Wake Up and Rewind

I love this! It is so true… we are disconnected from ourselves, from our work, from our passions. We are disconnected from the food we are to eat.

Here are some ways to “rewind” while still having a modern life:

Go to a Farmer’s Market and talking to the farmer.
Grow your own spices and use them in making your meals.
Regrow celery and spring onions in glasses in your kitchen.
Take the trash out “barefoot” and reground yourself.
Sit outside for 20 minutes, do your emails that way, or take a business call.
Do something kind for someone else, really go out of your way.
Be grateful for the shower you took today and the clean water you drank.
Plant something outside without using gloves.

I am sure I could go on and on…and so can you. This disconnect is what is creating some of the lethargy and depression that is going on. It makes us unconscious about what we are putting in our mouths. Wake up.
