Mindful Nutrition: Processed Foods vs. Whole Foods


A lot of crazy stuff is going into our processed foods. Be intentional with everything that goes into your mouth. Go for foods that don’t have packaging and more than 5 ingredients.

Once you eat highly sugared and processed foods, your taste buds get “hyper” stimulated. Apples and oranges don’t hold the same magic when you compare them to Dorito’s.

Go slowly, back off of these foods as you can. You will feel so good when you eat mostly from whole real foods.

We are, all of us, having weird symptoms and issues we don’t even attribute to what we are eating. The less of these foods that you eat, the better you will feel – promise!!

    I have always eaten pretty healthy, but over a year ago I decided no more refined sugars and processed foods. Now I do not even like them let alone crave them!!
